Christine Vilardo is seeking mature modern dancers to participate in a
concert titled “Zero to Sixty: a Journey from Then to Now” at the
Performance Garage on October 4 & 5, 2019.

Former members of Zero Moving Dance Company, including Renée Banson, Terry
Beck, Lisa Bardarson, Patty Veit and Christine Vilardo will be presenting
work and, along with other former members of Zero Moving, will honor
founder Hellmut Gottschild with movement, sound and archival material.

Interested dancers are invited to a first session on Thursday 7/25 at 6:30
pm at First Position Dance Arts, 19 W. Lancaster Ave in Ardmore. Please
contact Christine at cvdt at aol.com <mailto:cvdt at aol.com> or 610-316-0021 if
you have questions or plan to attend. Comfort with improvisation is key.
Please bring your calendars to set rehearsal schedules. Rehearsals will take
place over the summer and in September.

Christine is also offering a dance technique/ movement exploration class for
adult dancers and movers of all ages and experience levels. The class meets
weekly from 6:30 to 8pm at North Light Community Center, 175 Green Lane in
the Philadelphia Roxborough neighborhood. Christine’s teaching
incorporates space, breath and pulse as starting points, and her
choreographic work uses water and glass as thematic material. This class
will include both modern dance technique as well as improvisational formats
& will explore movement from Vilardo’s choreographic repertory. Christine
Vilardo was a founding member and Co-director of Zero Moving Dance Company.
She also co-founded & recently performed with the Tanz Fabrik (Dance
Factory) Berlin which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary in Berlin,
Germany. She founded and directed Moving Target Dance Company. She looks
forward to working with movers of all levels and to sharing and developing
movement material with the class. There is no charge for the class; however,
donations to North Light Community Center are requested. Please email or
text Christine if you have questions or plan to attend.
