GAME ON! Learning through Movement-based Games with Adina Rosenberg

Calling all folks who would like to play, dance and have fun! Throughout her career, Adina Rosenberg has adapted Marianne Torbert’s work in cooperative games to offer players a dynamic experience that highlights creativity in movement, problem solving, and physical/social/emotional skill-building. The interactive challenge combined with the elimination of competition promotes opportunities for joy and personal success.

Adina Rosenberg is a board-certified dance/movement therapist and licensed professional counselor, specializing in creative arts therapies for children, teens and adults. She is the former Director of Children’s Behavioral Health Services at Interac, Inc., and a Clinical Supervisor in the Behavioral Health Outpatient department at Family Service Association of Bucks County. While studying for her undergraduate degree at Temple University, Adina learned about cooperative games from the work of Marianne Torbert, a former Temple University professor, and over the years has adapted the games to promote the physical and emotional health of children and adults. She has taught cooperative games to recreation leaders throughout Philadelphia, physical education teachers, dance/movement therapists and counseling students.
