Join Dance TAG (Teaching Artist Group), sponsored by Philadelphia Dance Projects, for a series of engaging, stimulating and useful workshops relating to teaching dance. All sessions are free and open to all, and held on Sundays from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine St., Phila 19130. RSVP to info at philadanceprojects.org.

First up is a workshop on Sunday, March 12, Mixing it Up: Making Meaningful Performance Pieces with Students from a Wide Range of Skill Levels led by teaching artist Sara Narva, who brings a wealth of experience to the topic. Great strategies and approach, applicable to many situations and settings.

TAG continues the following week, on Sunday, March 19, with Resiliency through Dance led by the Delaware crowd, Lynette Overby and A.T. Moffett. They just returned from South Africa where, among other things, they developed this workshop.

Come to the third one on Sunday, April 2 for Creative Movement Stories for Young Dancers led by Mady Cantor, Dance TAG director and early childhood movement enthusiast. She will share original and adapted dance stories that have worked successfully with the 3-7 year old set. Great for those who work often or occasionally in dance studios, daycares, and elementary settings.
