About the artists:

Meghan Frederick is a dance artist based in Philadelphia, PA. Her
choreography has been presented and supported by creative residencies
throughout New York City and the Northeastern United States, most recently
by Movement Research (NYC), Brooklyn Studios for Dance (NYC), Arts on Site
(NYC), Center for Performance Research (NYC), STUFFED Dinner and Dance
(NYC), and The Living Room (ME). Meghan was a member of the Brian Brooks
Moving Company from 2008-2014 and has recently performed with Liz Lerman,
Carlye Eckert, Maya Orchin, Catherine Galasso, and Kendra Portier, and as a
guest with SUBCIRCLE Dance Company.

Kate Seethaler is an improviser, choreographer, performer and teaching
artist based in Philadelphia, PA. Her choreographic work currently moves
from questions about the audience-performer relationship, as well as the
scope and legibility of improvisation, while meshing surreal humor with
sincerity and uncertainty. Kate has performed in works by Kellie Lynch, Joy
Davis, Jenn Nugent, Stephanie Maher, Deborah Goffe and Katie Martin, and
most recently in the work of Paige Phillips and Annie Wilson. She works as
a movement educator and Pilates instructor, in addition to being an
administrator for Mascher Space Cooperative.

Hassan Syed is a performing artist, dancer, and choreographer who is
currently a second-year MFA candidate at Temple University. Hassan has
performed internationally and is currently a dancer for Cardell Dance
 Theatre.

Mira Treatman is a dance-theatre artist born and raised in Philadelphia.
Described by Julius Ferraro in thINKingDANCE as “not graceful,” she works
to reframe what dancing bodies mean on stage, screen, and site. She is
committed to connecting people around meaningful ideas and experiences
through blurred social-choreographic boundaries. Her work has been
supported by the Bartol Foundation in partnership with Small But Mighty
Arts, The Knight Foundation/NCCAkron, Gibney LANDING, Dixon Place, and Arts
Letters & Numbers. Mira co-produces the E|MERGE Interdisciplinary
Collaborative Residency at Earthdance, Plainfield, MA. She regularly offers
a performance workshop called "Duets By Strangers" at 954 Dance Movement
Collective. Mira is a writer + editor at thINKingDANCE, covering dance in
its broadest sense. www.miratreatman.com
