A reminder that Dance/USA Philadelphia will be hosting a discussion of
Engaging Art:  The Next Great Transformation of America's Cultural Life,
edited by Steven J. Tepper and Bill Ivey, on Friday, July 18th, 10:00 AM at
the Chapterhouse, 9th and Bainbridge Streets.  Please join us!

We have some extra copies of Engaging Art available to borrow on a
first-come first-served basis.  Stop in at the Dance/USA Philadelphia office
to pick one up:  1427 Spruce Street, Suite 1F.

ENGAGE 2020
The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance has rolled out an exciting new
initiative: Engage 2020, with the goal of doubling participation in the arts
in Philadelphia by the year 2020.  Visit www.philaculture.org to learn more.
The best way to get on board with Engage 2020 is to read Engaging Art:  The
Next Great Transformation of America's Cultural Life, edited by Steven J.
Tepper and Bill Ivey.  The book illuminates key trends involving technology,
audience demographics, religion and the rise of "do-it-yourself"
participatory culture.  We have some extra copies at Dance/USA Philadelphia
available to borrow on a first-come first-served basis.  Join us for a
