Two Weekends of Dance:
Friday and Saturday, April 18 – 19 and April 25 - 26, 8pm
Tickets:  $25
Based on the tenets of "exchanging and exploring," the Bride's Dance with
the Bride series presents two consecutive weekends of programs developed
during the residency activities of Japanese born/New York based
choreographer Kota Yamazaki and 2007 Pew recipient Charles Anderson.

For the first weekend, Anderson's dance theatre X will present work created
specifically for them by Yamazaki, as well as two pieces created by
Anderson.  The following weekend, Yamazaki's fluid hug hug will present
Rise:Rose.  With seamless transitions between modern dance, Japanese butoh
and hip-hop, Rise:Rose explores the unexpected, abstracted aspects of the
human persona.
In addition to their performances, Yamazaki and Anderson will be
facilitating master classes.
Charles O. Anderson's master class, The dance theatre X Afro-Contemporary
Experience, will be held, Saturday, April 19, 11am – 1pm.  Cost for the
master class is $10.
Kota Yamazaki's Fluid Technique will be held, Saturday, April 26, 11am –
1pm, Cost for the master class is $10.
