 Rennie Harris Puremovement - Accompanied by the UArts Alumni Big Band

Led by UArts School of Dance faculty member Lorenzo "Rennie" Harris,
Rennie Harris Puremovement takes the stage to the musical stylings of
the UArts Alumni Big Band for a performance melding hip-hop dance and
jazz sounds. April 17, 8 p.m., Levitt Auditorium, Gershman Hall (401 S.
Broad St.). Free and open to the public, but space is limited. Email

reservations.

 

This event is part of the symposia "Improvise/Commit: Conversations on
the Creative Process," celebrating the April 18, 2008, inauguration of
Sean T. Buffington at President of The University of the Arts. These
varied events feature innovators in a wide range of artistic fields and
disciplines and range widely to include workshops, performances, panel
discussions and lectures. All events are free and open to the public.
