 *SEEKING MALE COMPANY MEMBERS *

*dance theatre X (dtX) is seeking 2 MALE DANCERS of any ethnicity or
nationality for its core company. dtX is looking expressly for individuals
who not only have strong technique and professional performance experience
but who are also  comfortable with experimental choreographic
processes/improvisation, who are generous of spirit, who are comfortable
working with people of any nationality and interested in investing
themselves intellectually and physically in the company's work.**  ** He
must be willing to commit to a full year contract that will include paid
rehearsals and performances starting immediately until March, 2009.  This
candidate must be available to rehearse in Philadelphia Thursdays-Saturdays.
Also, dtX will be in residence at The nEW festival June 2-20 and at The Yard
at Martha's Vineyard from July 26-August 24.  The ideal candidate will be
available to rehearse and perform for both of these entire residencies.*

Diaspora.    Artistic Director, Charles O. Anderson (a 2007 Pew Fellow),
draws from the distinct cultural and movement backgrounds of his dancers to
build choreographic structures upon an African-derived movement
foundation. Anderson works in but also challenges the traditional and
contemporary boundaries of African derived movement, creating work that
gives testimony to the complexity of 21st-century cultural identities. *
