DELAWARE’S FIRST PERFORMING ARTSFESTIVAL UNICITY IS  ANNOUNCED

PremierCentre for the Arts and Realize Records announced today  that
Delaware’s first performing arts festival iscoming to town.  Unicity
Performing Arts Festival is scheduled to take place in Middletown,  DEon
August 2 2008. 

Thefestival will be the first of its kind in the  area and feature
some of the countries finest musical ensembles, bands, dance  troupes and
performance artists from all over the country. The festival is a  collage of
all
types of performing artists from classical musicians to  punk rock bands,
featuring ballet dancers to street hip hop artists. Poets,  actors,
comedians,
everything and anything goes. The event is a 12 hour  fusion of nonstop
performing artists, unbelievable food and drinks all  leading up to two shows
featuring top national acts.   

PremierCentre for the Arts, Executive Director Fred Munzert says,  “Delaware
is on the verge of a cultural andarts' explosion.  This IS the  perfect time
for Unicity. I am veryexcited about the synergy in this  project.  This will
be avibrant and exciting festival." The festival  will end with two
nationalacts that will be announced later in the month.  
The event will have multiple stages, one of which, the  Unicity
EmergingArtist Stage, will feature up and coming artists that have  created a
buzz inthe industry. Tickets for the festival will go on sale in  April.

thecountry all within walking distance of each  other.  We are also excited
that the performers willbe able to showcase  in front of industry
professionals that may potentiallylead to work for them  in the future.”
