Upcoming free workshop sponsored through LINC Philadelphia.  
"Independent  Contract or Employee: Unraveling the Mystery of 
Employment Status for Teaching Artists" is scheduled for Monday, April 
14 from 9:30-11:30 at Fleisher Art Memorial.

This workshop will discuss not only the 'checklist' of criteria for 
deciding whether someone is an employee or independent contractor, but 
will also discuss the ramifications for artists and their employers of 
each status.  Issues of benefits, liability, taxes and other areas will 
be investigated and there will be plenty of time for questions, (all 
hypothetical of course!)

This can be an ongoing source of uncertainty for many organizations, 
who are also encouraged to attend.
