I am forwarding Merilyn Jackson's email. (see below). We have been pushing
for more media support for dance from The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Please help by logging onto the site and reading Merilyn's fantastic article
on Merce Cunningham. We need to support Merilyn and her efforts to get more
ink from the Inkie for dance.

Friends and dance lovers, 

 

The Inquirer keeps a count of the most visited sites. So if you would like
to see more and better dance coverage, you can in a sense, vote for it by
visiting all dance coverage in the paper. Please visit the site below as
soon as possible and from each of your email addresses. Then email it from
the paper's link to your friendsand ask them to do the same. If you look at
the most visited sites today its all about sports. So, that's why there's an
entire section devoted to those readers and only about 40-50 dance articles
a year. 

 

Prove that there are more people who care about the arts than about sports.
Visit this article, email the article, and then we can start to track how
many people really do want more dance coverage.
