cast of CAR.

thursday.

at Susan Hess Studio
2030 Sanson Street, Philadelphia/ 3rd floor

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL REHEARSALS
AND PERFORMANCE DATES BEFORE YOU ATTEND THE AUDITION.

You must be available:

June 16-21st (daily)

July 1-August 31st:
Wednesdays 6-9
Tuesdays 2-5

Tech Aug 27 & 28

Performances: Aug 29, 30, 31 and Sept 9-13 (daily)
5pm call-till 11PM

I am holding auditions for my current work, CAR, a
performance installation for 3 audience members who
sit in
the backseat of a moving car. I will be looking for
dancers for two separate casts. We will perform the
work at the Live Arts Festival in September.

I am looking for strong mover/ performers who hold a
particular interest in experimentation and dancing in
odd places. My work is very collaborative.

You must:
• be a strong improviser
• be good at partnering
• have a sense of humor
• be cool with crawling around in and on a car, on
pavement, in outdoor spaces

FOR BOTH CASTS:
There will be 7 shows/ night. There is only one group
section in the piece, so you can break between shows.
Show is very solo and duet heavy. However, it will be
an intense run.

PAY:
Pay is $12/hr for rehearsals and $100/day for shows.
